In January 2025, we are thrilled to announce that the DOING 45 TPD waste tire pyrolysis equipment project in Myanmar has been successfully finished. Below is a video of the project site:
Client Background: Shifting from Limestone Production to Waste Tire Recycling
The Myanmar client has long operated a limestone factory, where heating fuel makes up a large portion of operational costs. After noticing Myanmar’s abundant waste tire resources, the client decided to launch a waste tire-to-oil project. Their plan: convert waste tires into tire pyrolysis oil—a high-quality heating fuel with a calorific value of 42–45 MJ/kg—and use this oil directly in the limestone factory’s heating systems. This “self-produced and self-used” model would help reduce dependence on external fuel suppliers and cut monthly fuel expenses.
Pyrolysis oil application
To turn this goal into reality, the client began searching for reliable waste tire pyrolysis equipment. Eventually, they chose DOING, drawn to our professional technology and hands-on project experience.
Cooperation Journey: From Inquiry to Project Completion
January 2023: The Myanmar client sent an inquiry to DOING, outlining their specific needs for waste tire pyrolysis equipment. Key requirements included a total daily processing capacity of 45 TPD and a demand that the produced tire oil meet the limestone factory’s heating standards.
June 2024: Following multiple rounds of communication—covering equipment parameters, production processes, and cost breakdowns—the client confirmed the cooperation and signed a contract with DOING. The final order included three 15 TPD batch-type waste tire pyrolysis units, plus supporting equipment: heavy oil burners, automatic feeders, carbon black elevators, and cooling water tanks.
September 2024: DOING finished manufacturing all equipment and shipped it to Myanmar.
Shipment of waste tire pyrolysis equipment
January 2025: With on-site guidance from DOING engineers, the full equipment installation was completed. The engineers also provided installation videos to the client for future reference, ensuring the client’s team could master basic maintenance and operation skills.
Why DOING Tire Pyrolysis Equipment Meets the Client’s Needs
The three 15 TPD batch-type units selected by the client are customized for medium-to-large waste tire recycling projects, and their advantages align perfectly with the client’s goals:
Side slag discharge design: Unlike traditional bottom slag discharge systems, the side-mounted design speeds up carbon black discharge—allowing for two discharges per revolution, which boosts overall operational efficiency.
Complete supporting equipment: The included automatic feeders reduce the need for manual labor, lowering labor costs. Carbon black elevators collect solid carbon black, which the client can potentially resell to add an extra source of income. Meanwhile, heavy oil burners can use the produced tire oil as fuel, creating a “closed-loop” energy system that further cuts fuel expenses.
Installation of waste tire pyrolysis equipment
This project serves as an excellent example of how waste tire recycling can turn waste into valuable resources. Tire pyrolysis oil isn’t just suitable for fuel in lime plants—it can also be used in glass factories, brick factories, steel mills, gypsum plants, and more. If you too want to reduce fuel costs and optimize your plant’s operating expenses, please contact DOING to learn more about our pyrolysis equipment.
