Waste rubber tires(end of life tyres), as complex raw materials with high fiber and oil content, require strict pre-treatment processes before being fed into the fully continuous tire pyrolysis machine. Generally, the production line equipment needed to process tires into rubber powder includes tire crusher, tyre shredder, magnetic separator (with a steel wire recovery rate >98%), and a vibrating screen. Waste tires must first undergo steel wire removal and particle size reduction to ensure a smooth pyrolysis process and avoid blockages and uneven pyrolysis problems. The separated steel wire is cleaner, fetching a market price approximately $50-150 per ton higher than that from direct pyrolysis process.
