How much diesel can be produced from 1kg plastic? For ordinary plastics, such as PP PE PS, you can get about 0.7 liters of diesel from every kilogram waste plastic by plastic to oil conversion machine and pyrolysis oil distillation machine. For hard plastics such as ABS, the oil output rate of diesel from waste plastic is about 30%. The following table shows the oil yield of different types of plastics. Here oil yield refers to the crude oil obtained from the raw material. Further treatment is required from crude oil to diesel oil, and the general conversion rate is between 85% and 95%.

What affected the oil yield, the answers is the type, humidity and purity of waste plastics. PP PE PS is the best type waste plastic with high oil yield. And if the plastic with other waste, the oil yield will be low, and if the plastic with too much moisture, the oil yield is not high neither.
