If you are planning a pyrolysis project, a plant with similar capacity and feedstock can be a more useful reference than equipment specifications alone. Many suppliers with extensive experience in installing pyrolysis equipment—such as Henan Dongying Environmental Resources—will, upon obtaining consent from the pyrolysis plant owner, proactively coordinate with clients to arrange visits to similar facilities.
However, please note the following before visiting: The same TPD does not always mean the same plant. A 15 TPD waste tire plant and a 15 TPD oil sludge plant, for example, may require different feeding, reactor, discharge, and anti-coking designs.
When comparing projects, look at three factors:
Processing capacity
Feedstock
Operating mode
Key Factors for Comparing Similar Pyrolysis Plant Projects
The closer these are to your own project, the more relevant the reference will be. An operating plant also lets you see actual feeding, reactor operation, product collection, and residue discharge—details that are difficult to judge from drawings alone.
The following Doing ECO (formerly Henan Doing) projects provide references across different capacities, feedstocks, and operating modes.
Capacity: 10 TPD
Feedstock: Waste tires
Project: 2012
Operating history: Reported 6 years
This early India project provides a long-term reference for small-scale waste tire pyrolysis. DOING reported approximately 40% fuel oil, 30% carbon black and 15% steel wire, although actual yields vary with tire composition and operating conditions.
The customer later purchased additional equipment.
Best reference for: around 10 TPD waste tire projects and long-term operating experience.
10-Ton Tire Pyrolysis Plant Project in India
Capacity: 12 TPD
Feedstock: Waste tires
System: Batch
Project: 2026
Operating history: More than 6 years for the customer's earlier DOING plants
This was the customer's 9th DOING batch tyre pyrolysis plant since 2021. The customer had already operated previous DOING plants for more than six years before ordering this new unit.
The plant uses a horizontal rotary reactor, with non-condensable gas recycled as heating fuel. A carbon black briquette machine was also supplied for further processing of the carbon black.
Project highlight: Repeat customer with long-term operating experience and multiple DOING plant purchases.
Best reference for: Around 10–15 TPD batch waste tire pyrolysis projects.
12-Ton Batch Waste Tire Pyrolysis Equipment Project in Mozambique
Capacity: 15 TPD
Feedstock: Waste tires
Project: 2024
The plant uses a pressure-resistant reactor head, integrated water-tank condensation system and post-slag discharge system. The customer also visited another DOING operating project before placing the order.
Best reference for: 10–20 TPD tire projects and comparison of reactor and condensation configurations.
Capacity: 15 TPD x 6 Sets=90 TPD
Residual oil: 50–60%
Project: Four units were purchased in 2023; following a period of operation, the customer was satisfied and placed a repeat order for two additional units in 2024.
Status: Installed and put into trial operation
The feedstock was highly viscous, corrosive and prone to coking. DOING therefore used a 304 stainless steel reactor and built-in dynamic scraping/decoking system.
The customer reported good operation after commissioning.
Best reference for: oil sludge and other difficult feedstocks where coking and corrosion are concerns.
Capacity: 20 TPD
Feedstock: Waste plastics
System: Continuous
Project: 2018
This project was developed for a customer who needed to process 20 tons of waste plastic per day. The continuous system uses automatic feeding and continuous residue discharge to support longer production runs.
20-Ton Continuous Waste Plastic Pyrolysis Plant Project in Spain
Project highlight: Continuous processing at 20 TPD for waste plastic.
Best reference for: Around 20 TPD continuous waste plastic pyrolysis projects.
Capacity: 50 TPD x 2 Sets= 100TPD
Feedstock: Tire powder
System: Continuous
Project: Collaboration began in 2019, and a repeat order for another 50 TPD fully continuous pyrolysis unit was placed in 2023.
Status: Installed and entering trial production
The line integrates continuous feeding, pyrolysis, oil-gas collection and solid residue discharge, with a design focused on extended continuous operation.
Best reference for: 30–50 TPD continuous tire pyrolysis projects.
Capacity: 2 × 50 TPD
Total capacity: 100 TPD
System: Continuous
Project: 2026
Status: Shipped; installation to follow
This project consists of two 50 TPD continuous pyrolysis plants rather than one 100 TPD unit.
The system includes PLC automatic control, continuous feeding and slag discharge, negative-pressure and nitrogen-purging sealing, automatic monitoring, dust collection, desulfurization and SCR denitrification.
As a new 2026 project, it is best used as a large-capacity equipment reference, rather than a long-term operating record.
Best reference for: investors planning large continuous pyrolysis capacity or multiple 50 TPD units.
50-Ton Fully Continuous/Batch Pyrolysis Equipment Project in Poland
| Feedstocks | Planned Capacity | Comparable Doing ECO project |
| Conventional rubber tires, plastics, oil sludge, aluminum-plastic composites, etc. | Around 100KG-1Ton | Skid-mounted pyrolysis unit |
| Around 100KG-20TPD | Batch pyrolysis plant | |
| 30-200TPD | Multiple pyrolysis lines | |
| Crushed tires, plastics, or semi-fluid sludge, etc. | Around 15-100 TPD | Semi-continuous pyrolysis systems |
| Small-diameter tire rubber powder, plastic particles, sludge, etc. | Around 15 -200TPD | Continuous pyrolysis plants (highest automation degree) |
Capacity alone is not enough. A project using the same feedstock and a similar operating mode will usually give you a more useful reference than one with only a similar TPD figure.
By 2026, drawing on decades of experience in equipment customization and installation, Dongying has partnered with clients across more than 120 countries and regions worldwide. The projects we have undertaken involve a wide variety of raw materials and equipment types, ranging in scale from small 100kg pilot units to industrial-grade pyrolysis lines with a capacity of 150 tons per day (TPD). If you want to compare your project with an existing Doing ECO installation, send us your: Feedstock + planned capacity + country
We can help identify the closest project reference and provide available project photos, videos, equipment information, and installation details for comparison.
A quotation shows what equipment you can buy.
A comparable project shows what that equipment looks like in real use.
